Located in Kagoshima, Japan, KEDOUIN Golf & Resort embodies the refined serenity and natural elegance of 
its surroundings. Seeking to move beyond its dated image, the brand aimed to renew its logo with a more 
sophisticated and contemporary design. Mortarheadd led the rebranding process, preserving 
KEDOUIN’s heritage elements while creating a visual identity that resonates with a younger audience.

Brand Identity

The dragonfly, a natural monument of the Kedo-in region, symbolizes an existence that thrives only in pure and pristine environments, directly reflecting Kedo-in’s nature-friendly image. At the same time, it represents agility and freedom, embodying the dynamic yet flexible character that the golf and resort brand aspires to.

Brand Expression

The dragonfly’s wing strokes unify the curves of a golf swing, capturing both the subtlety of nature and the 
energy of sports. The curves radiating around the golf pin symbolize the refined yet vibrant movement of the brand, 
much like a swing tracing across Kedo-in’s green fields.
